these tracks didnt make the cut for a variety of reasons described below or were my section of the reminiscences live set and havent been released independently. most of the cut tracks have been given some sort of acapella to so they dont seem so empty

1 - was going to be used as an interlude like ataraxis/lotus and dawn but we had already reached a comfortable time for the album. you can hear the beginning was supposed to fade in from another track i dont remember which one but you could probably slot it in somewhere. this track was also performed live and there are some harmonic mistakes i wasnt super happy with. its almost there its just not quite perfected and was going to be hard to replicate. maybe in the future ill attempt a new version that sounds harmonically complete and consistent.

2 - another cut interlude that was going to slowly transform into one of painter & canvas's work. i think this one was cut because of the high pitch singing not fitting the sound of the rest of the album. this almost got used in a collab with negative architecture but was cut for similar reasons. theres a much better section in that song we ended up using instead that should be released sometime soon.

3 - too intense and startling but i didnt want to tone it down. the one exception to this rule was gonna be lotus and dawn because we didnt want it to be an ambient album with constant loud audio jumps and all that. also the vocal samples used here went against the rest of the development of the album and would probably stick out too much.

4/5 - my sections from the live show. happy with how these turned out.

6 - the looping background sample was going to be used in a song. the textural part of the loop is an effected sample of the piano melody i made for decadence decadence offset. goes in with the acapella though.

7 - just didnt fit the vibe of the album. i really liked this sound though and it took like 4 hours to make or something insane like that. this acapella also fits the song quite well i think. very airy/sharp. one of the synth samples is also used on ataraxis as well as one other song i cant remember now maybe the last one.

8 - this was going to be the part after ishouldveknownbetter. cut because it wasnt mixed and i ran out of time in my section. super fun to make this section.

9 - going to be the intro to the live but couldnt find a way to transition + time constraints + also massive clipping. you can still hear how it was supposed to sound if you play raiser 44000 after it.

thanks for all the support on reminiscences. i have some more stuff in the vault i may release as a c-sides someday. painter & canvas and i have discussed a possible second release but its still in the conceptual phase because we want to find a label for the first to make physicals as those have been highly requested. also personally i dont really wanna make another ambient album right now. maybe it wont be ambient and will come out sooner i have no idea.
